This is a unique leather journal. It is 100% handmade.
The leather used is a medium weight, brown pull up which will age beautifully with use.
It has 200 pages, counting both sides, of natural white fabriano academia drawing paper at 120 gm/2. This paper is acid free and age resistant with a slight grain, it is idea for writing and drawing with dry mediums. Each page has been hand torn giving the book a beautiful deckled edge.
It has green khadi end papers made from the bark of lokta or mitsumata. These are native plants which grow at high altitude in the Himalayan forests.
I have sewn it with strong white Irish linen thread 18/3. Closure is a strap of waxed leather.
