This is a unique refillable leather cover designed to fit a pocket (small) moleskine notebook or any book of similar dimensions (9x14cm).

It has three flaps sewn into the front, the back and the inside of the cover. The inside flap has an additional pocket to fit cards.

The leather used for the cover is un dyed vegetable tanned leather around 1.4mm thick. This beautiful full grain leather will darken over time and develop a rich patina.

Each edge has been beveled and burnished for a high quality finish.

The leather strap which keeps the journal closed has also been designed to secure a pen or pencil to the front of the book.

I have sewn it using the traditional saddle stitch which has been favoured by leather workers for centuries because of its durability, it is much stronger than machine sewing. It is sewn using very strong white linen thread 18/3.

This leather cover is built to last and last and will only improve in time developing it's own unique story on it's travels with you. It would also make a perfect travel gift.
