This is a unique refillable leather cover designed to fit a pocket (small) moleskine notebook or any book of similar dimensions (9x14cm).

It has three flaps sewn into the front, the back and the inside of the cover. The inside flap has an additional pocket to fit cards.
The leather used for the cover is a medium weight, pull-up, cow leather which will age wonderfully with use. This Pull-up leather. (also known as waxy or oily pull-up) has a natural appearance which lightens in color when stretched or marked to produce a unique worn-in effect with time.

The leather strap which keeps the journal closed has also been designed to secure a pen or pencil to the front of the book.

I have sewn it using the traditional saddle stitch which has been favoured by leather workers for centuries because of its durability, it is much stronger than machine sewing. It is sewn using very strong brown linen thread 18/3.

This leather cover is built to last and last and will only improve in time developing it's own unique story on it's travels with you. It would also make a perfect travel gift.
