This minimalist little wallet is made out of a single piece of vegetable tanned leather. Folded around itself, this unique wallet has four separate compartments.

The main compartment will hold around 7 plastic cards and there is room to fit folded notes. Over time the leather will soften and more cards may be added.

Each edge has been meticulously bevelled, burnished and waxed with beeswax for a quality finish to ensure a long life.

It is hand sewn using the traditional saddle stitch with natural linen thread (18/3). I wax the thread with beeswax. It is double stitched throughout

It will age beautifully with use, with the leather becoming buttery soft, each developing its own unique patina over time.

Thickness: 1.8/2.0mm

These double crusted squared shoulders are vegetable tanned through to a crusting stage where at this point they are re-selected for grain flatness. Following that they are dyed to colour and given a light burnishing wax.

All the natural characteristics of growth, fat wrinkles and the likes are evident.
As such no two pieces will be exactly the same, that is the joy of working with natural materials.
