Fauxdori/Midori/Moleskine Notebook Cover.

These covers are made using extra thick, premium quality, vegetable tanned leather at 3.0/3.4mm and will last a lifetime. This leather is durable but over time will soften developing a rich patina.

Each edge has been bevelled, burnished and waxed for a quality rounded finish. A lot of time and care is spent on ensuring the very best finish for every cover I make.

Please note this listing is for the leather cover only. It does not include the notebook inserts. I have shown my own notebooks in the pictures to give you an idea of how they look when in use.

The cover uses elastic cord to hold at least 4-6 inserts.
Please let me know on purchase (in the notes to seller) if you want 4 strings of elastic or 6. If you do not specify, I will make it with 6 strings of elastic.

PERSONALISATION:
I am more than happy to stamp the cover with up to 4 initials for free.

VEGETABLE TANNED LEATHER:
The vegetable tanning process results in leather with a distinct appearance and unmatched durability. One of the best features of vegetable-tanned leather is that it develops a patina over time with prolonged use and exposure to the environment.

The process of vegetable tanning uses organic material and natural tannins derived from the barks, leaves
and branches of trees and plants.

The un-dyed leather will darken over time.
